Anogyra Village
LIMASSOL / PAPHOS AREA
Anogyra is located on the elevated open countryside area, about 12 kilometres inland from the bay of Akrotiri. It is ideally located exactly between Pafos and Limassol. around 30 minutes drive to both towns. This lovely village has attracted a great deal of investment in recent years, and many of the old stone properties have been restored to a very high standard. In addition to these very attractive residential properties, Anogyra boasts a few small shops, an old church, and several excellent tavernas, two of them with swimming pools. In addition, a carob museum has recently opened in the village, in an old restored property, and a few kilometres outside the village is a further museum and small theme park, which is dedicated to the history of the olive industry, and the production of olive oil.

Finikaria Village
LIMASSOL AREA
Finikaria village has a population of approximately 300 and dates back to medieval times. Today there is a general purpose store and taverna in the centre of the village. The taverna provides cooked breakfasts, light meals and a full meze on Friday evenings. Finikaria village has wonderful mountain and valley views, it is quiet and peaceful, yet no more than ten minutes from Limassol’s tourist area, town centre and the beaches, the house has easy access to all amenities. Finikaria village and its surrounds are great for hiking, trail riding and nature lovers, with miles of trails, paths and unspoiled scenery. It is a wonderful place to relax away from the bustle of the tourist areas and busy beaches and provides easy access to more remote (and also popular) mountain villages as well as to local historic sites of interest including Limassol and Kolossi castles and ancient Amathus and Kourion.

Pelendri Village
TROODOS MOUNTAINS
Set amongst expansive orchards in the heart of the Troodos mountains, the village of Pelendri is not commonly mentioned by tourist guides unless in passing as a stage on the journey to other, more publicised destinations. Nevertheless, this picturesque mountain village has much to recommend it to the casual visitor or the prospective real estate buyer. For one, properties in Pelendri benefit from a close proximity to the ski resorts of the Troodos making them an ideal location to get the best of both worlds, since during the winter months once can be skiing the powdery slopes of the mountains, then swimming in the clear waters of the Mediterranean little more than an hour later. Secondly, during the summer months properties in Pelendri, like the other villages of the Troodos Massif, provide a welcome escape from the heat of the coastal plains with a pleasant, temperate climate ideally suited for a residence away from the crowds of the major resorts, yet within easy reach of the sea and the more cosmopolitan facilities of Cyprus when the mood takes you. Widely considered to be one of the most picturesque communities on the island, the village itself is largely constructed from local rock in the traditional Cypriot style, although around its fringes, a number of luxurious, modern homes have been constructed, mainly by overseas buyers seeking homes with a difference.
